Filming again 10/11 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM

A big thank you to all who came out to film today, and to those helping behind the scenes. This movie could not be made without so many people graciously sacrificing their Saturday. Despite today's sudden cold snap, I think everyone had a good time. Everyone certainly did a terrific job! Pictures from the footage are now posted to our web site.

As expected, we will need extras again this coming Saturday, October 11th. Please come, rain or shine. It is no problem if you have to come late or leave early. We can start later if that works out better for a lot of people. Drop off kids or stay and watch. If you don't have kids, we need behind-the-scenes helpers too. There will be at least six more opportunities to participate in 2015, but this Saturday will be it for 2014.

The 11th will be a little different than today. It won't take as long, and it's supposed to be much warmer. And while today the extras were required to mostly just stand there, next Saturday many extras will have specific parts to act out:
a. Man hammering something
b. Two women carrying baskets pass each other, nod a greeting and smile wide as they take their baskets to their huts.
c. Man pulling cart and another man approaches, they talk, they shake hands, he pays him and takes a sheaf of wheat.
d. Kids playing ring around the rosy.
e. Someone carrying water buckets on yoke.
f. Someone selling meats and veggies.
g. Someone stirring pot over fire.
h. Someone carrying firewood.
i. Someone selling linens.
j. People in conversation, laughing.
k. Someone sweeping.
l. Moms grab their little ones when the horse enters the scene.
m. Someone takes a bucket of oats to the horse.
n. Someone greets the protagonist as she enters the village.
